SEE is a family owned business whose shareholders are closely involved in the business at all levels.
The SEE board consists of the CEO Scott Baker, Chairman Neil Davey, Joint Managing Directors Pat Davey and Jamie Davey, five day to day business directors and Head of Finance.
The board is committed to achieving the highest standards for conducting its business responsibly and in accordance with all laws and regulations of which the business activities are subject to.
The board allocates and delegates authority for day to day management of SEE’s activities. The board formally meets every quarter, business directors submit reports on each of the divisions for review.
SEE and its board of directors is committed to the construction industry and the markets in which we operate.
Pat is a Director of SEE, he is a qualified electrician with a hands on approach to the business ensuring a proactive and efficient management with an emphasis on delivery excellence, quality control, cost efficiency and environmentally friendly strategies, all of which are key objectives to customer satisfaction and the development of long term relationships.
Pat served his time with SEE having expertise in the electrical field specialising in the commercial and retail sectors. His technical and operational experience combined with strong leadership abilities has helped develop a world class team of employees which share and project the company’s values in delivering the highest standards and continued innovation.
As a main board director Jamie has played a pivotal role in the growth of SEE. Working closely with Neil he developed and executed the strategy for the SEE’s maintenance division spanning Mechanical, Electrical and fabric. Today he is responsible for delivering around 30% of SEE’s turnover and profit and has operational responsibility for over 100 employees. Jamie started as an electrical apprentice and over 15 years with SEE he has built up an in-depth understanding of all aspects of SEE.
Chris recently joined SEE to head up a Mechanical Services Division within the Projects Department to compliment the well established Electrical Service Projects Department that is already a successful and integral part of SEE’s business.
Chris has over 25 years’ experience in the industry including a 6 year indentured apprenticeship with Matthew Hall where he gained a higher diploma in building service engineering at the Hertfordshire College of Building.
He also has over 20 years’ experience working in the Retail Sector and has also worked on numerous office fit-outs as well as residential and commercial projects.
As head of the Mechanical Services Division, Chris will be involved in all aspects of the contracts from initial enquiries and tenders, through to project design, delivery and completion.
John Saunders is the Director for our Electrical Division and joined SEE in 2004.
John is a highly focused and driven individual with vast retail and general contracting experience dedicated with experience in modern methods of construction within commercial and retail environments.
John’s philosophy is to ensure SEE are the clients contractor of choice, regularly attending senior management courses to ensure current legislation/best practice are pursued and employed on every contract, thus ensuring SEE always deliver a first class service to our clients.
Today, John works closely with our Mechanical Division and is involved in all aspects of electrical project design delivery to completion.
Mark Fowler recently joined SEE in the role of Project Director in the Mechanical Services Division.
Initially, Mark completed a 5-year apprenticeship with Matthew Hall, achieving a multi-discipline City & Guilds & NVQ qualification in HVAC Heating and Ventilating, Electrical Installation, plumbing and Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning services.
Mark has since gained 15 years’ experience working for two of the largest construction companies in the commercial, high-end residential and high-end retail sectors. This experience has enabled him to understand all areas of the construction process, from cradle to grave.
In his role at SEE, Mark is involved throughout the project lifecycle from the tender process to delivery and completion. His focus is on delivering projects to the highest quality standards and ensuring complete client satisfaction.
Tony joined SEE in May 2017 as Commercial Director to support SEE with its ever growing client base and to support the commercial management side of the business.
Tony started his career with John Lelliott in 1985 where he trained as a Quantity Surveyor. He then moved on to Nico Construction in 1989, where he held the position of Project Surveyor. He has also worked as a Project Surveyor for Overbury, and held the Commercial Manager and Senior Commercial Manager role at both Spectrum and Ibex respectively.
Tony’s experience has enabled him to fully understand all aspects of the construction process. This enables him to play an active part in terms of value engineering opportunities both during the tender process and when endeavoring to give best value advice during the construction process.
Tony fully understands the client’s expectations in terms of programme delivery, meeting and controlling budget constraints and finishing to the highest quality standards.
Rajesh Patel is our Head of Finance and an essential member of the group board, he joined SEE in 2014.
Rajesh oversees the financial function of the business. With more than 15 years’ experience of working within practice, Rajesh is well placed to advise SEE on every aspect of their business affairs.
Since joining SEE, Rajesh has implemented operational procedures and efficiencies to support the finance and broader business functions of the company.
Today, Rajesh assists the company in maintaining financial stability and ensures the finance department is fit for purpose, he is directly responsible for managing a team of twelve staff members which includes financial and management accountants, ledger clerks and credit control personnel.
Pat joined SEE in 2007 and has 30 years’ experience working within the electrical industry.
As Projects Director I am involved in all aspects of contracts from tender stage to completion, including heavily involved with design development.
Pat works closely with John Saunders and Chris Phillips and is highly focused and driven to assure that the initial promises made to clients at tender / introduction stage is not only met but exceeded.
Bob joined SEE plc in February 2017.
It is Bob's responsibility to deliver projects to the expectations and approval of the client, on time and within budget. Whilst working towards delivery, it is important that legislation and clients requirements are met whilst ensuring that the Health and Safety is maintained to the highest degree throughout the project and beyond.
Bob has been in the construction industry for over 36 years starting out as an Apprentice electrician. Having qualified as a approved electrician, Bob worked his way up from Charge Hand to Supervisor to Project Manager to Senior Contracts Manager and to his current position as Director of SEE plc.
Michael joined SEE in 2013 to head up SEE's new Rail and Special Works Division. Michael joined as a Senior Contracts Manager with extensive rail and dangerous structure experience and got promoted to Director in 2016.
Michael has grown the rail division and it now has an extensive client base, providing rail services throughout London and the South East.
Michael has over 20 years experience working in the construction and rail industry and manages everything from pricing tenders to overall management on site.
