Charlie Thomas IT Apprentice Won CompTIA Apprenticeship Award

Charlie Thomas SEE IT Apprentice joined SEE in 3rd January 2016 working with Darren O’Hara IT Support Engineer.
Charlie has been completing his IT apprenticeship with guidance from Darren and was shortlisted in 2017 for the Apprenticeship Awards in IT and Digital by Just IT Awards. Just IT’s annual awards event recognises the top achievements of IT & digital Apprentices and the forward thinking employers which have supported them to success.
Charlie was shortlisted for CompTIA Apprentice of the year and was up against two other finalists, the awards were held at The British Computing Society during National Apprenticeship Week, John Pritchard, Head of Apprenticeships at BCS, spoke boldly about Apprenticeships’ role in closing the IT skills gap and Haydon Godbeer,
One of the award speakers was Graham Hunter from CompTIA, who presented the 2017 CompTIA Award to Charlie Thomas as he had the highest A+ CompTIA exam score – a key qualification on the road to a successful IT career.
Charlie achieved great success achieving this prodigious award and after his one year apprenticeship has become a permeant member of the IT team as of January 2017.
