SEE M&E Project Wins
SEE have recently secured contracts to provide Mechanical & Electrical services on the following Projects in London & the South East of England:
Mercury – Royal Albert Docks: £2.9 million Electrical Phase 1 Contract due to commence in January 2018 for Shell & Core and Cat ‘A’ fit out of 21 no. office buildings.
Phase 1 of the Royal Albert Dock masterplan will establish a new commercial quarter of London. The first phase is focused on five plots of the masterplan and will deliver a total of 65,000 square metres of mixed-use space across 21 units, the majority of which will comprise commercial units.
Westfield – White City Zone N2 Offices: £2.7 million contract which commenced on-site November 2017 for Shell & Core and Cat ‘A’ fit out of 3 no. office floors within Shopping Centre extension.
Westfield London will have an extra 740,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and leisure space from March 2018.
Allenbuild – Westbourne Park Baptist Church: £2.2 million contract which commenced on-site in July 2017 for extension and refurbishment of Baptist Church with 33 no. new apartments.
The accommodation includes affordable 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments for those working and living in Westminster.
Sir Robert McAlpine – Royal Albert Hall: £1.7 million contract due to start on-site June 2018 for boiler plantroom and associated alterations to Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington.
The existing steam heating system will be replaced with a new Low Temperature Hot Water system.
Laing O'Rourke – Intu Watford: £1.4 million Electrical Contract which commenced on-site September 2017 for Shell & Core at the Intu Shopping Centre extension.
The extension will have a phased opening from September 2018, bringing additional retail, leisure and catering brands to the town centre.
Jaysam – Langham Hotel: £1 million mechanical contract which commenced on-site January 2017 for bar and spa refurbishment.
The Chuan Body + Soul Spa boasts 16-metre swimming pool, sauna & steam rooms and treatment rooms. The Wigmore bar has been transformed to capture and enhance the original features of the space.
Sir Robert McAlpine – Kings Court Penthouse: £750,000 contract commenced on-site May 2017 for penthouse apartment fit out overlooking Covent Garden, with roof terrace.
Kings Court will be Covent Garden’s chic discrete micro destination in the heart of the neighbourhood. Kings Court is part of the larger development at Covent Garden which will create eight new retail units, two new restaurants and forty-five premium apartments centred around a new public courtyard.
Cumberland – Estée Lauder, Westgate Oxford: £200,000 contract commenced on-site July 2017 for fit out of 3 no. retail units in Westgate Oxford.
The retail units were amongst 60 of 125 shops and restaurants which launched when the £440 million Shopping Centre opened for business in late October 2017.
Nationwide – The Strand: £180,000 contract commenced on-site October 2017 for refurbishment of the two-storey branch.
The refurbishment works will be completed over a 7-week period as Nationwide continue to invest in branches.
